Women of Wardrobe (W.O.W.) is a  young professional organization for young women who support Dress for Success Houston.

The Mission

W.O.W.’s goal is to assist Dress for Success Houston through their involvement and volunteerism in order to support the overall mission.  Each membership fee is used to purchase a new suit and accessories for a Dress for Success Houston client.  Active W.O.W. members donate at least 3 hours of volunteer time to help Dress for Success Houston provide interview suits, encouragement, and career development to disadvantaged women.

The W.O.W. membership year runs from June to June.  Membership includes free entrance to all W.O.W. events, such as the annual Sizzling Summer Soiree at Tootsies and the February Fling co-ed fundraiser.

The Women of Wardobe invite you to start off your summer in style by joining us at our annual Membership Drive at the Dress for Success Houston office on June 24, 2010. The festivities will begin at 6 o’clock in the evening.  While enjoying exquisite bites from Freebirds and hip sips, guests will shop at Itsy Bitsy Baby, Tres Chic, The Lash Co., NovaLash, Laura Mercier and ROME SALON AND DAY SPA. You will also be able to try your hand at winning one of our fabulous raffle items and get style tips from Holly Thompson!

Most importantly, you will learn about W.O.W. and the group’s upcoming events and goals as well as hear success stories from an actual client and how Dress for Success Houston has affected her life.
